The Copyright House Directories of Registered Works serve as a deterrent against copyright infringement.

Anyone could claim that their works were registered with Copyright House, but our directories give the opportunity for anyone to check whether this is true or not. The fact that some of the information of your copyright registration is on public display is an extra deterrent against infringement of your copyright.

It is not compulsory to have your registration details displayed in our directory. We do, however, strongly recommend that they are.
